Can I submit a photo?
 Yes! This blog wouldn’t be the same if you all didn’t send me your amazing photos - submissions are never closed! There are a few things I ask before you submit:

  • Make sure you have dyed hair and that you can clearly see your hair in the photo
  • Include a link to your blog if you wish as I will not
  • Please ensure the photo is good quality. I do accept webcam pictures but I will delete any images that are too grainy/blurry etc.

Why didn’t you post my picture?
If I didn’t post your picture, there will be a reason. Maybe it was bad quality, maybe you’d submitted it before and it’s already been posted.
Please be patient once you’ve submitted a picture - sometimes the queue has hundreds of photos in it and it can take a while to get to yours!

What hair colours have you had?
All of them, pretty much! Dyed my hair with a permanent colour for the first time when I was 14 and haven’t seen my natural colour since!

Can you give me hair advice?
I am more than happy to give out advice - I get hundreds of questions a week and I will reply to them all - however, I will always recommend that you go to a salon or get it done professionally, I will stress that everyone’s hair is different and what worked for me may not work for you, and I will not be taking responsibility if something goes wrong! 
There is a drop-down menu on the main page with a few How-To guides, please look at these before you ask in case your question has already been answered.

“How do I dye my hair [insert colour]”
Please check if I have already made a How-To guide for this. If not, by all means ask me. Maybe I’ll create another guide just for you!

Can I submit a How-To guide?
Yes, please do!
Keep in mind that I reserve the right to edit it, add bits, and delete parts as I see fit - or delete the whole thing if I decide to.
I will give you credit for it, of course.
And again, be patient, if I get submissions I won’t put them on the drop-down menu all at once as I need to post them to the main page in order to link them - it can be annoying for people who are just here for the pictures if I keep posting lengthy text posts.

Can you please post a certain hair colour?
Yes, but please look at the drop-down menu first! The amount of times I get asked to post bright red or white hair etc… I’ve posted thousands of pictures of dyed hair, have a look if the colour you are after is on the list there. If not, then use the ask box!

Will you promote me, follow me, or check out my blog?
I’m sorry, but no. This is a hair dye blog to feed my love of dyed hair and to display wonderful hair colours to my wonderful followers. If you submit a picture and I’m rather taken by your hair, I will check out your blog - I do follow a few people from this blog - however this blog takes up much more of my time than I thought and as much as I would like to, I really can’t check out everyone who asks. I’m sure your blogs are all amazing :)
Now and then I will offer competitions and the like, look out for these.

I asked you a question, why didn’t you answer?
I try to answer every question, however if you’ve ignored the FAQ or asked how to achieve a certain colour and I have already made a How-To guide for this (drop-down menu on the main page) then I might just delete your question, especially if I have hundreds to get through.

I work 12 hour shifts, I have a boyfriend, a circle of friends, and a family… Sometimes it takes me a few days to get back to people. I want to answer all of your questions, but please give me a chance :) 

Why do you sometimes not accept anon asks?
For a start, this is a really friendly blog and there’s no need to hide behind anon - everyone is willing to help each other :)
Secondly, I was getting SO many asks and to save filling up the blog with similar questions/answers, I started to reply to the majority privately. Obviously, I cannot do this with anon asks :)
Anon is turned on for my personal blog so if you really need to use it, go check that out!
I turn it on sometimes but your question/request is more likely to be answered if you’re not anonymous. 

Why do you have a donate button on the main page? Do you expect us to give you money?!
No.
No one has to use it, I don’t expect anything. I just thought any donations I did get would help me start up this hair dye business that I am planning.

I don’t want ANYONE to feel like I want you contributing to this blog for financial gain, because I don’t. I absolutely LOVE running this blog, I love your submissions, I love your questions and how friendly you all are. You’ve all made me pretty happy with your amazing hair and kind words.

The donate option is just like a tip jar. If you fancy it. If you don’t, please just carry on submitting your great pictures and enjoying all the fabulous dyed hair!
